As my career progressed, I had an opportunity to do double duty as an Executive Chef/ F&B Director for a midsize Hotel that has led me to my current title of F&B Director for a large Convention Center.I have always referred to Hyatt as the catalyst that led me to where I am today, and always dreamed of going back someday. And I would recommend full time student if possible. If your in Ops for the long run and really want to become a GM, no point in going to school now. A masters degree wont really speed up or increase your pay while follwing the Hyatt Ops ladder. Ops is great, but not for me. I got out of the Ops routine and now involved in the Hotel Development field. Love it - but ufortunately an 100% Ops experience wont get you there.
